摘要：
The use of automatic exposure control (AEC) in mammography systems does not perform to meet the acceptable criteria and yields poor image quality. The parameters assessed are: 1) AEC response for a fixed thickness al different kVp, 2) AEC reciprocity performance at a given kVp with varying thickness of lucite and BR-12 tissue equivalent phantom, 3) AEC time out characteristics.
