摘要
The behavior of the high temperature phase of high temperature QCD is studied in semi-infinite and slab geometries. Surface terms are necessary in effective action approaches to completely determine the interfacial behavior. A simple illustration of this phenomenon is given. The behavior of an SU(3) spin model related to finite temperature is studied using mean field theory. An effective action is derived from perturbative QCD to describe these geometries at high temperatures, similar to the one used to describe high-temperature order-order interfaces. A qualitative comparison is made between analytical and Monte Carlo results.
