摘要
The authors expressed that for an adequate development of identity values within the teaching-learning process of the subject History of Cuba for Junior High School Students, the potentials of historical narration towards the formation of a cultural identity were exploited. The objective of this article was focused on the reflections from the perspective of the teaching of History to contribute with the preparation of the professors to deal with the treatment of this narration. The historical narration was used as methological resource which, from the didactic of the History is applied as a method and skill. Opinions of Cuban investigators were considered, whose works, joined to the results from the author's research, constituted an important contribution to the solution of problems when taking advantage of the historical narration to favor the identity formation of the students.
