This article discusses family characteristics of a group of teachers from a private School in the city of Medellin, which are based on a research study conducted between 2010 2011, that also includes demographic, economic, labor, and social variables. This text only contains family characteristics, taking into account that family is a highly significant institution with a strong influence on the well-being and performance of teachers.
