Stopping power measurements of low-energy protons using backscattering on the thick target

摘要
The stopping power of Si,Cd,Fe,Au and YBaCuO for 80-240 keV protons was determined by measuring of the absolute backscattering yield of the thick targets. The overall energy resolution of the spectrometer device did not exceed 16 keV. For the stopping power determination from the surface yield the single collision approximation has been used.
