摘要
Two methods: high performance liquid chromatography and spectrophotometry of reincates have been proposed for standardizing the raw plant material of Salsola collina Pall. from the content of glycinebetaine that is one of the most biologically active components. The techniques developed for quantitative determination of glycinebetaine in the extract of wild and cultivated raw materials show a high reproduction of the results (S(r) = 7%). The predominant content of glycine-betaine is detectable in the fraction of quarternary nitrogen bases and its amount in the raw material varies from 1.9 to 0.5%.
