This work shows the potential of the industrial landscape for the study of contemporary heritage. We use both Industrial Archaeology and Landscape Archaeology methodology and tools to show the potential of this landscape for historical studies and for the study of tangible and intangible culture using the industrial landscape in Sierra Cartagena-La Union (Murcia) as a case study
