摘要
The Z1 oscillation of the electronic stopping power for a slow ion moving through a degenerate electron gas is investigated with quantum scattering theory. Using the atomic IPM potential we calculate the Fermi-level phase shifts and the stopping power. Our results are compared with the calculations based on nonlinear density-functional theory and experimental data.
