摘要：
I would like to acknowledge the country, Peoples, Elders and their histories of the Kaurna Nation, where this paper was presented at the 2009 Australian and New Zealand History of Education Society Annual Conference. In addition, I would also like to acknowledge Kamilaroi country, Peoples, Elders and their histories, the place of my family. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the achievements of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, 1 without them I would not have had the opportunities I am experiencing today.
