Working women in education and modernity

This work aims to reflect about the inclusion of women in teaching work, emphasizing those ones in Active School Program in the town of Buriti-MA. Therefore, a brief bibliographic review was carried out about the achievements of women in the labor market as well as notes about this Program. Two variables will be discussed more specifically by making relations among them: the sex of the interviewees and the reasons which led them to exercise teaching as a profession. For this research were carried out twenty interviews with teachers of the Municipal Education of said town.
