摘要
Several novel phenomena are described by means of a numerical treatment of the transient behaviors of a short cavity dye laser in which a saturable absorber DODCI was mixed with a gain medium Rh6G. It is predicted that single longitudinal mode, ultra-short dye laser pulse trains can be generated using a gaussian pumping pulse. Furthermore, primary experimental results were obtained.
