Magnetic properties and domain structures of single- and multi-layered Co-based amorphous films are investigated. Although single-layered core at as-made state has five magnetic walls parallel to easy axis, 8-layered core has a single domain structure. In CoHfTa core with positive lambda, short magnetic walls appears from the core fringe. On the other hand, there appear no walls for CoHfTaPd core with negative lambda even after heat treatments. A single domain structure is realized even for head pole width of 3.8 mum, side angle of 15 approximately 60-degrees by using CoHfTaPd/SiN 8-layered films.
