]This study is part of a doctoral dissertation research conducted between 2009 and 2012 in subsidized secondary schools in the province of Curico, Chile and seeks to know, through the technique of natural semantic networks, what are the alternative conceptions students attribute to different concepts of ecology after completing their formal education compulsory.
