SPECTRUM SMOOTHING USING DATA ON FREQUENCY COMPOSITION OF NOISE

摘要
A spectrum-smoothing method based on comparison of Fourier transforms of the spectrum and a noise sample is examined. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by an example of Auger-spectrum smoothing. The merits of the method include simplicity of realization and relatively fast (almost-equal-to 20 sec) execution of the smoothing procedure on an Elektronika MS0585 computer.
