摘要
In this paper, a new ranking function is proposed to compare m fuzzy quantities in m - 1 steps. The ranking function is in terms of the core and margin and alpha - cuts of fuzzy quantity, which are considered simultaneously. Also, in our procedure the real numbers will be omitted. So, we have illustrated several typical examples to compare the proposed method with some other ranking methods.
