摘要
Enzymic activity of hyphae and vesicles of the vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Glomus intraradices in the roots of Allium porrum was measured before and after enzymic digestion of the fungus from mycorrhizas. Using Nitroblue tetrazolium to detect activity of succinate dehydrogenase and fluorescence of Acridine orange, a decline in the activity of enzymes of the mycorrhizal fungus was observed during enzymic digestion. No enzymic treatment was found which permits removal of the fungus from roots without plasmolysis of vesicles and a reduction in enzyme activity. © 1990, British Mycological Society.
