摘要
An encoding method for optical implementation of addition and subtraction in the modified signed-digit number system is proposed. Parallel computing of the addition is demonstrated by the use of a hybrid optical computing system constructed of PROM devices and electronic circuits. © 1990 The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
