DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF A CONTROL FOR A PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS EOLIC GENERATOR (PMSG)

摘要
this technical contribution looks for deeper analysis on simulations around demestic eolic permanent magnet synchronous generators (PSGM), with features of low velocity, set at 4KW with applications to domestic uses (VL = 381V). The shown sytem is conformed by a wind turbine, a permanent magnet generator, a three-phase diode rectifier, a DC boost converter and an inverter converter, along with their respective controls. The technical contribution is illustrated with a PSMG eolic generator since it does not need the use of mechanical gear shafts, which provides a much better energetic efficiency. The simulation is performed on software tools widely accepted in electric projects: PSIM to establish the connection to three phase circuits. The technical contribution also demonstrates the advantages on the use of these kind of generators, which are now becoming in an important alternative within distributed generation, since this synchronous generator may be placed at low heights from the ground, which easies its installation and maintenance.
