摘要：

The aim here is to reconstruct the interactionist perspective that analyses social movements, availing its methodological fecundity and also its inadequacies on the research of new collective action configurations. Some examples of frame theory applications on the analysis of social movements in Latin America are commented. Remarks about problems related to the collective identity construction, required by the interactionist perspective, conclude the article.
