摘要
The establishment of glass production in Mexico City during Colonial period, was favored caused in the connection with he metallurgical activity, focused (reduced in the direction) in the separation of the silver from the gold, metal used in the production of coins (mint money). In this dissociation process, it was used glass recipients with particular characteristics named "conamusas", produced in the "Casa del Apartado". The economic remuneration of the workers dedicated to manufacture these pieces was low in spite of some labor considerations. In former years to its incorporation to "Casa de Moneda", the production was diversified to elaborate different articles of this material, requested for pharmacists and doctors; besides, it was commercialized raw material with other glass production places in Mexico City.
