摘要
An experimental investigation into mean aerodynamic forces on a cylindrical structure in a wake of another parallel cylinder is carried out. Measurements of the aerodynamic response were taken for various configurations of streamwise and transverse spacings over a range of 12,000-73,000 of subcritical Reynolds numbers. Empirical correlations of the normalized symmetric variations of drag coefficients as well as of the antisymmetric behavior of life coefficients are presented. The surface pressure distributions lead to additional information about the roles of the main parameters involved in this complex flow situation. Additional results are discussed in the paper.
