摘要
Inverse scattering is used to solve the general problem of finding an applied RF field to produce a desired selective-excitation profile. The formalism is used to calculate the exact, closed-form solutions to the waveforms which produce a collection of refocusing slice profiles, the limit of which is a rectangular section. It is seen that this solution is also effective at producing a waveform which is effective as an excitation pulse or an inversion pulse. © 1991.
