摘要：
The effect of the nonlinear gain on the spectral dynamics is theoretically discussed in quantum well lasers. The results indicate that the nonlinear gain which is enhanced by the quantum confinement of carriers causes the increase of the linewidth enhancement factor alpha. This enhancement of alpha results in the spectral rebroadening under the high power output condition.
