摘要
Magnetic and magneto-optic properties of NdCo/Co and NdCo/Fe multilayers are investigated. A perpendicular anisotropy in Ndco/Co multilayers increased when the bilayer thickness is decreased. But it was not enough to achive the perpendicular magnetization. In contrast to this, perpendicular magnetization state could be realized in NdCo/Fe multilayers. Kerr rotation of NdCo/Fe multilayers is larger than 0.40 at the wavelength of 400nm, but it decreased with decreasing film thickness. Exchange-coupled pseudobilayer structures consisting of NdCo/Fe multilayer and TbFeCo layer are also prepared to improve the charactristics for recording media. © 1990 IEEE
