摘要：
Constipation is a common gastrointestinal motility disorder that may be due to a variety of causes. For many, the condition is chronic and negatively affects health-related quality of life. Chronic constipation-associated symptoms significantly interfere with the affected individual's daily life by influencing mood, mobility, normal work, recreation and enjoyment of life.
