摘要：

Information technologies are increasingly imposed. It is not a fashion, but a necessity of society in this globalized world. The present article shows the fundamental results of a research that, with a theoretical and practical approach, makes a revision of the conceptions around the information management, to achieve a harmonious integration of the corresponding information systems in entities of different instances of the country which manage information of interest to the government. A procedure for improving information systems is proposed. It has been applied to a group of prioritized ministries and official organizations, showing their effectiveness, facilitating timely decision making at the corporate and governmental levels and laying the foundations for the establishment of e-government.
