摘要
The territorial distribution and interrelations of wolves and red deers in 1930-80 ths were studied in Voronezh State Reserve. The correlation of the spatial distribution of the predator with that of the prey is shown, the causes of its changes are analyzed. The conclusion is drawn, that the presence of wolves increases the stability of the deer population in Voronezh reserve due to the moderate influence of the territorial brood on different sex-age groups. Besides that, wolf is a competitor of wild stray dogs.
