摘要
Objectives. The aim of the study was to compare the severity of symptoms of mobile phone addiction between gymnasium students at risk and at no risk of Internet addiction. Material and methods. The participants were 105 gymnasium students (65 girls and 36 boys) aged 13-16 years. The risk of Internet addiction was determined basing on Young's Internet Addiction Test (IAT), and the symptoms of mobile phone addiction were assessed using the Mobile Phone Addiction Assessment Questionnaire by Potembska and Pawlowska. Results and conclusions. Gymnasium students at risk of Internet addiction display a significantly higher severity of mobile phone addiction symptoms than no-risk students.
