摘要
The potential relationships among religious behaviors, spiritual beliefs, and well-being were investigated. Specifically, a canonical correlation analysis was used to explore the extent to which a set of religious and spiritual variables correlated with a set of well-being variables of general happiness, marital satisfaction, and physical health. The results demonstrated that the first two canonical dimensions Rc(1) =.166 and Rc(2) =.138, respectively, yielded noteworthy canonical correlations. The findings suggested important similarities and differences among various religious, spirituality, and well-being constructs that clearly warranted implications for counselors and other human service providers.
