TEM ANALYSIS OF SUBSTRUCTURES IN HIGHLY DEFORMED COPPER SINGLE-CRYSTALS

摘要
Crystallographic relations and the character of misorientations in substructures in highly deformed copper single crystals are investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy. In the major part of the crystals, the substructure is hierarchic, consisting of coarser more misoriented subgrains containing a finer substructure characterized by smaller misorientations. Correlation of the coarser substructure with the conditions of dislocation glide under which it was formed in the crystals resulted in a suggestion of a possible dislocation mechanism of its formation.
