摘要
This article is based on the analysis of the challenges for social intervention and higher education, which derive of the Latinamerican and Colombian social contemporary context, which gives an account of the contradictions, tensions, as a result of the modernity/modernization process, which has brought as a result inequality, injustice and violation of human rights in the modern society, individualism, rupture of social and communicative ties that tend to perpetuate along the time. The importance of a proposal on higher education for the social intervention is explored particularly, for the higher education in social work mainstreamed from ethical, logical, theoretical and epistemological perspectives, such as the ethics of speech, theory of communicative action and the reconstructive research method respectively, which allow to conceptualize a formation in and for the autonomy as communicative competence, which promotes the freedom, equality, and solidarity of each and every participant people. The students from a comprehension of the context may project a complex social intervention which contribute to the inclusion of other to the society, the speech construction and the social fabric and to the rational and communicative comprehension. To get this point the higher education in social work is analyzed.
