摘要
:
Anodic behavior of Fe in concentrated chloride solutions is characterized by potential/current oscillations in the current plateau region and above. These oscillations are aperiodic and directly related to formation and dissolution of a porous anodic Fe salt film. The chaotic nature of these oscillations is described by the power spectral density, phase portrait, Poincaré section and Lyapunov exponent determined from experimental data. These results establish that oscillations are associated with a deterministic strange attractor and that the erratic temporal behavior is not driven by external noise. A mathematical model of potential oscillations has been developed in good qualitative agreement with experiments. © 1990.
