THE APORIES OF ETHICS OF THE HUMAN ENVIRONMENT

The cultural and theoretical sources of the present constitution of ethics of the environment condition the origin of apories of this ethics which limit in advance its applicability and effectiveness. The apory of the intracultural level of ethics of the environment manifests itself by the logocentric character of setting the goals and argumentation and it limits the possibility of this ethics to be an instruction for action in the multicultural environment of ecological crisis situation. The apory of centricity derives from the old (classical and modern) conceptual nomenclature of sciences and ideologies and it evokes the need of a fundamental regrouping of concepts, starting points and goals. The apory of operation results from the acceptance of the strongest socioeconomic and power processes and structures on the one hand and from the final expectation of great changes, on the other. This apory also limits the theoretical and practical possibilities of the arising ethics of the environment. The identification of the apories of ethics of the environment evokes the need of investigating the complex culturally communicative prerequisites for the constitution of changed axiologies and ethical perspectives of the problem of the living environment. It is not philosophy but cultural anthropology that becomes a heuristic principle here.
