摘要
A minor anthocyanin accumulated in the cultured cells of Aralia cordata has been identified as peonidin 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl (1-->2)-beta-D-galactopyranoside, which is the 3'-O-methyl ether of the major anthocyanin, on the basis of the FABMS and H-1, (13)CNMR spectra. Effects of culture conditions on the anthocyanin composition accumulated in the cells were investigated. Light irradiation, high sucrose or low nitrate appears to stimulate the methylation of the major anthocyanin.
