STATE-OF-THE-ART OF METHODS FOR BUSINESS PROCESS REDESIGN

Two stimuli can compet a company to redesign the way the, are doing their business: business changes and new IT potentials, The ''classic'' methods do not deliver appropriate answers to the stimuli mentioned above. Many new methods have been developed under the global term Business Process Redesign. These methods differ from the classic methods in their design objects as well as in their components. The new methods give the companies important guidelines on how to design their processes today, unfortunately many questions are still open.
