摘要
Individuals with moderate to severe apraxia of speech are often limited in their ability to use natural speech and functional adequately in daily communication. Especially the effectiveness of traditional therapy method applied to individuals with chronical apraxia of speech. Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and systems can become important components of multimodal communication systems to enhance the effectivety of natural speech, communication competence and participation, On the one hand analyses of case studies about AAC and apraxia of speech indicate the curing effect of multimodal communication methods, on the other hand unsatisfying results call for intensive researches.
