摘要
The first national study of the work environment of associate degree nursing program directors was performed in December 2008. A surprising finding was that one-third of the respondents (n = 77) reported some exposure to bullying within the last year. In addition, the directors reported their nursing faculty as the primary offenders. The purpose of this article is to report the statistically significant findings of self-identified bullying toward associate degree nursing program directors within the United States. Discussion of the implications of these findings and suggested intervention strategies will be presented. Published by Elsevier Inc. on behalf of National Organization for Associate Degree Nursing.
