Vibrational interface spectroscopy by sum-frequency generation

摘要
The development of non-linear optical spectroscopies is coupled to the one of frequency tuneable lasers. Presently, free electron laser (FEL) is the only technology allowing the generation of high peak power picosecond pulses tuneable over all the infrared spectral range necessary for interface vibrational spectroscopy by sum-frequency generation (SFG). Nevertheless, parametric conversion appears as a competitive alternative in the mid-infrared. In that context, we have developed both a SFG spectrometer coupled to the CLIO FEL, and a picosecond optical parametric oscillator tuneable from 1.3 to 10 mu m.
