摘要：

The author calls in question if there is interest in Latin American Theology of Liberation, known for its commitment to the historical transformations of society in favour of the poor, to maintain a dialogue with the literature. Except, if this could mean an alienation of the socio-historical and therefore causes disengagement with popular causes. This paper will present a series of arguments that help to realize the importance of this dialogue from the preferential option for the poor as its key element, into the specific contribution and characteristic for the establishment of this dialogue with the literature.
