摘要
The criminal trial of former Washington, D.C. Mayor Marion Barry serves as a basis for a discussion of jury nullification. In essence, this article examines the legal lore and social science data about jurors' performance and considers the factors that allowed the jury to reach the decision it did: namely to exonerate the mayor for his actions.
