摘要
Film theory has been applied to the ozonation of resorcinol and phloroglucinol. It was observed that the kinetic regime of absorption changes twice depending upon the ozone partial pressure applied. For low values of this variable, the reactions are fast and psuedo first order with respect to ozone so that the kinetic expression given by the film theory allows the determination of the pseudo rate constants at different pH's and temperatures. When the ozone partial pressure is increased, the kinetic regime is at first fast and second order (first order with respect to ozone and phenol) and then instantaneous. The values of the ozone partial pressure for which the kinetic regime changes are dependent on pH and temperature, and they diminish as both variables decrease.
