摘要：
Recognizing the importance of systemic evaluations as an opportunity to review ways to offer a quality education that meets the peculiarities of the students, this study aims to analyze and discuss the results obtained by students in the 5th year of elementary school (EF) from public schools in 28 municipalities under jurisdiction of the Regional Superintendent of Education Varginha, using two instruments: the results of IDEB in the years 2007 and 2009 and PROEB - years 2009 and 2010 in the disciplines of English and Math. Progress was evidenced in the results and positive growth in these counties.
