摘要
This paper aims to evaluate the application of the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration (A3P) and the legislation in social and environmental activities performed in a Federal Institute of Education. The main objectives are: to evaluate the observance of the environmental laws; to measure the adherence of the Institution regarding the actions proposed in the A3P; to check the status of implementation of social and environmental policies according to the collected results. The purpose of this research is exploratory. We adopted the case study as the technical procedures, and the problem approach is qualitative. The case study was carried out by a checklist composed of 52 questions, which are subdivided into five different themes. Each question had two possible answers: "I adhere" or "I do not adhere". This study shows that the organization promotes very few actions aiming at the awareness, the monitoring of the rational use of natural resources, and the management of generated waste. Their priority is the training of their employees and the sustainable bidding.
