摘要：
The vertical distribution of Copper, Cadmium, Chromium, Lead, Manganese, Iron and Zinc was studied in sediments of two rivers (Axios and Aliakmon) in Northern Greece. Except for Cadmium all other examined metal ions showed an enrichment at depth of ten to twenty cm. For all other metals, a negative correlation of concentration with depth in the cores was observed.
