摘要
The objective of this article is to conduct a literature review to investigate the limits and potentialities of Science Parks as Public Policy. We carried out a systematic literature review. In the first step, we researched in recognized importance Brazilian journals in order to create an overview about the theme. In the second stage, we extended to the REDALYC periodic basis. After investigating the incidence of the term "Science(s) Park(s)" in the area of administration and accounting, in the period 2008-2013, we found 78 documents. A selected reading 15 of these documents allowed the construction of three categories explanatory of the phenomenon: "Science Park as public policy". It was also possible to demonstrate that, although studies on technology parks are fully disseminated in the literature, technology parks as institutionalized policy of local development is still a relatively unexplored.
