Strategic innovation as an indicator of organizational innovation in institutions of higher education in Mexico

摘要：

The objective of this scientific article is to determine to what degree strategic innovation is associated with organizational innovation and the effect of this association. Based on a review of the literature and the theoretical perspective of resources and skills, the research hypotheses were formulated. The hypotheses were tested using a quantitative approach, a transversal research design with a descriptive/correlational scope, and through the opinions of 235 employees and directors of 32 institutions of higher education. The results demonstrated a positive correlation among the research variables, and also confirmed the importance of strategic innovation as an indicator of organizational innovation.
