摘要：
Practically complete suppression of side-maxima of a selectivity contour of high efficiency volume holograms is achieved experimentally. The effect is shown to be obtained through the creation of a Gauss-like distribution of photosensitive centers using two techniques, one based on diffusion of the centers and the other on pre-exposure photobleaching.
