INFLUENCE OF PRODUCTION LEVEL ON GENETIC POPULATION PARAMETERS OF MILK PERFORMANCE AND ON BREEDING VALUES

摘要：
In data of Black and White cows in northwest Germany (Lower Saxony) estimated genetic parameters and breeding values are dependent on production level. The production level is considered in routine animal evaluation to prevention of wrong decision. The definition of performances from different production levels as different traits and using an equivalent multiple trait evaluation for dairy cattle have a favourable effect on accuracy of estimated breeding values. This phenomenon, which is described again, is further clearing up.
