EMERGENCY. CONCEPT AND METHOD

The notion of emergence is longstanding. To date, in the context of the paradigm of complexity, has become important to be co-opted by various schools. This is not a univocal term. However, independent of the perspective always relates to a system and the micro / macro relationship. Historically the emergence has been some kind of a black box of inputs and outputs. The mechanism has been inscrutable. To date there has been a qualitative change in that regard. Indeed, currently available theoretical and methodological devices that allow revealing the black box, namely phenomenal, move from description to explanation of the mechanism of the emergent process.
