摘要
Buildings in 20 townships were examined for the presence of Ficus spp. Three species were found growing on high-rise buildings, namely F. benjamina, F. religiosa and F. microcarpa. Most were growing around the base of the buildings, but some occurred on the walls and ledges at the first level, and fewer higher still. As was to be expected, older townships had more plants growing on the buildings than younger townships. The problems caused by Ficus spp. are discussed.
